The good news is that we are working with both Eric and the venue to secure a new date for later in 2020, once everything becomes safer, due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

1 day GkNexus Xperience with Eric Steele, in partnership with BeNumber1 Coaching

Following on from our hugely successful event in February 2019, BeNumber1 Coaching are delighted to confirm that ex Manchester United and Manchester City goalkeeper coach, Eric Steele, will once again be joining us to host another fantastic day of goalkeeper education.

​This event will be ran in partnership with world leading goalkeeper education platform, GkNexus.
Eric Steele is one of the leading English FA Coach Educators and has presented at all of the top Goalkeeping conferences all over the world. He is best known for his time at Manchester United, in which he was Sir Alex Ferguson’s trusted Goalkeeper Coach. Eric was in fact the man who scouted and brought David de Gea to Old Trafford in 2011. And, that signing turned out to be not too bad!

Eric has also worked at Manchester City, Aston Villa and Derby County, from which he has built up an impressive list of Goalkeepers that he has worked with, including: Edin Van Der Sar, Peter Schmeichel, Joe Hart, Jack Butland and many, many more.
This event will be designed around how to develop Goalkeeper’s at grassroots level. Participating Goalkeeper’s will be given the chance to be coached by one of the world’s best Goalkeeper coaches and attending football coaches will get the opportunity to be educated by Eric on how to best develop Goalkeepers at their club, from which they will also receive guidance on how to implement a Goalkeeper training programme.
